“We are very pleased to announce, on behalf of the Starost of Łęczna County – Mr. Krzysztof Niewiadomski, that SP ZOZ in Łęczna has been cooperating with a team of US doctors belonging to the “Doctors Collaborating to Help Children” organization. The purpose of the project is to conduct plastic and reconstructive surgery on needy Ukrainian youngsters on May 14-19, 2023.
Doctors from Dr. Gennadiy Fuzaylov’s team are from Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, and Michigan University. Poland team of plastic surgeons are from the Eastern Center for Burn Treatment and Reconstructive Surgery, under the auspices of Professor Jerzy Strużyna, and from the Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Microsurgery at the Medical University of Lublin, under the leadership of Professor Kamil Torres, will work together at the operating tables.
We are incredibly proud to be a part of this wonderful work, which will improve the health and quality of life for many Ukrainian children. We would like to thank all the doctors for their dedication and professionalism, as well as our medical staff for their support in implementing this project.
