Volodya Bubela, the eight-year-old boy who was brought to Boston in June 2014, has improved sufficiently enough to be transferred from ICU to a hospital room. After over 5 months in ICU and many surgeries, Volodya was transferred in November 2014. We hope that Volodya will be able to leave the hospital and progress to out-patient treatment prior to returning to Ukraine in February, 2015. Volodya has made truly remarkable progress and we are very grateful to everyone who has helped Volodya on his road to recovery.
