We have secured initial funding to renovate patient facilities at the Lviv Burn Center and to provide medical equipment and patient care supplies. We were initially able to obtain a commitment for a donation from a Ukrainian organization in the United States towards this project. Our support as a U.S. based charity affiliated with Harvard Medical School compelled local officials to realize the value of the project and the importance of the Lviv Burn Center. As a result, the project garnered a significant amount of local publicity and the city government allocated funding for the renovation effort, committing to build a new pediatric burn facility. We believe that this modest amount will enable the center to dramatically improve the care that it provides to its patients.
