During our last Outreach Clinic in Lviv, Ukraine, which took place in September, 2012, we identified a number of children that needed to received treatment at Shriners Hospital for Burn Children in Boston. One of these kids was Bogdan Melnyk from Khmelnitskiy. The type of treatment he needed was not available in the Ukraine.
Bogdan arrived in the middle of Februray to Boston for treatment at Shriners Hospital. After reconstructive plastic surgery and radiation treatment he will be returning to Ukraine on March 27, 2013.
